You don’t need chair sashes for your wedding ceremony or reception chairs, but they add a bit of elegance. They come in many fabrics, including chiffon, lace, organza, polyester, satin, tulle, and velvet. These are the items you will need for a wedding reception table setting. The bottom plate is called a charger plate. The common size is 13″, and they can range from 12″ to 14″. Dinner plates measure between 10″ and 12″. They go on top of the charger plate. On top of the dinner plate can be a salad plate or bowl. They measure between 7″ and 9″. Dessert plates measure about 6″ to 8″. Bread plates measure about 5″ to 7″. Standard drinkware includes a water glass or tumbler, a wine goblet, and wedding toast flutes. Some couples will have separate drinkware for red and white wine.
